How to choose a contactor?

The chosen contactor for use with RARON EV charge controller should meet the following:

• Have a current rating of at least that of the maximum power of your charging station. E.g., 16A or higher for 16A charging station.
• Have normally open (NO) contacts. When voltage is applied to the contactor terminals (usually marked A1 and A2), the contact closes.
• The coil rated voltage (between A1 and A2) should be 230V AC.
